Young Progressives Party (YPP) on Friday rejected claims by the Governor of the State Anambra, Charles Soludo, about the collapse of its structure to support all the Progressive Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the November 8 Governor Election in the state.
YPP National Publicity Secretary, Bpk. Egbeola Martins, in a statement issued in Abuja, illustrates Soludo’s statement as a direct fake.
He said: “There has never been a YPP leadership organ that discusses or ratifies the idea of the collapse of the party structure in Anambra into APGA.
“YPP is a serious political force in Nigeria, ranks among the six leading political parties in the country and the top three in Anambra.

“We refuse to be deceived by such propaganda to confuse the anambra people. Our party is not in the business of supporting the continuation of the APGA government in any form.”
He stressed that YPP will reduce the credible candidate in the election.
The spokesman said the party was firm in his desire to offer alternative anambra people who were appropriate for current leadership, adding that their focus was to win the election.
Therefore, he asked the Anambra people to ignore the claims and stay focused on the real problems that will determine the future of the country.
