2027: the PDP warns the members against the approval of Tinubu, threatens the sanctions – Thage

The National Work Committee of the People’s Democratic Party warned its members against the president who approved the re-election for the re-election in 2027, describing these moves as anti-Party activities.

According to the secretary of national advertising, weak Ologunagba, the public support declarations to the All Progressives Congress in the next presidential elections violates Section 10 (6) of its Constitution, which prevents members from aligning with other parties or groups to undermine the PDP or any of its elected governments.

The party warned that the members who cannot withdraw these sponsorships would have to face rigid penalties as prescribed in its constitution, noting that these actions have caused division and disaffection in its ranks.

“The persistent explosions of the public media against our party by some prominent members whose public expressions and commitments for work for the APC in 2027 represent a serious threat to the stability and sustenance of our party”, the declaration reads in part.

The NWC urged the members to remain faithful and focus on the guarantee of the successful conduct of his national convention scheduled for 15-16 November 2025, in Ibadan, in Oyo’s state.
