Governor Fintiri blames Tinubu administration for hunger and poverty in Nigeria (Video)

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has blamed President Bola Tinubu’s administration for hunger and poverty in the state.

Fintiri, who addressed the state’s people on Sunday, said the current government’s policy initiatives have brought untold hardships to Nigerians.

He challenged Tinubu to address the grievances of Nigerians.

The governor said: “The protest may not be popular especially because of the way it is being conducted in some states, but the message is clear and the demands are sincere. None of us can deny that there is hunger and poverty in general.

“As leaders of the people, those in government must always not only listen but also act.

“The lesson we can learn from these protests is a constant reminder that it is not enough to simply tell people what we have heard. We must be seen to be doing what is necessary to provide solutions to people’s problems.”
