Oshiomhole rallies Esan people to embrace true son, Senator Monday Okpebholo, as Labour Party defects to APC

In a moving speech, former Governor Adams Oshiomhole implored the Esan community to reject the PDP’s “outsider” candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and instead embrace Senator Monday Okpebholo, a true son of the Esan soil. Contrasting Okpebholo with Ighodalo, Oshiomhole criticized the latter as an “emergency Esan man” who:

Oshiomhole also questioned Ighodalo’s contribution to Esan land and Edo State, citing his roles in Nigerian Breweries and Sterling Bank. “What has he done for you? What has he done for Esan land? Nothing!”
