UCL: Man City and Inter play out goalless draw, PSG narrowly win

Manchester City and Inter Milan played out a goalless draw in their opening UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday night.

Both sides had chances but failed to convert any of them.

In France, Paris St-Germain managed to score a late winner against La Liga side Girona as they secured a 1-0 victory to begin their continental campaign.

Paulo Gazzaniga’s own goal in the 90th minute was the deciding factor in both teams’ wins.

Elsewhere, Dortmund beat Club Brugge 3-0, with Jamie Bynoe-Gittens scoring twice while Serhou Guirassy scored the third from the penalty spot for the visitors.

Sparta Prague marked their return to the Champions League after almost 19 years with a comfortable 3-0 win over Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.

In other Champions League games played on Wednesday, Celtic crushed Slovan Bratislava to record a 100% record in all competitions so far this season, while Bologna and Shakhtar Donetsk played out a goalless draw.
