Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has recalled two commissioners who were dismissed about two months ago.
The governor suspended Mr Chrysanthus Dawam, the state’s Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and his Tourism, Culture and Hospitality counterpart, Ms Jamila Tukur, on 21 August.
Also dismissed were the Governor’s Special Adviser on Rural Development, Mr Dio Lamul, and the Mikang constituency Liaison Officer, Mr Moses Sule.
No reason was given for the suspension.
The governor’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Mr Gyang Bere, confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday in Jos.
He said the recall of the dismissed officials came after a thorough review and significant improvement in their behavior.
The governor’s spokesman added that the quartet had been reinstated to their various positions.
