Police operations in five countries throughout Europe raided housing and commercial property on Thursday morning in coordinated operations, which targeted organized drug crime.
A total of 32 properties were sought and 11 arrest warms were executed in operations carried out in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain.
The prosecution office of organized crime in the state of West Germany in Rhine-Westphalia northern and local police in Bonn said in a statement that one person was also temporarily detained.

“This operation mainly targets areas around Cologne and Bonn in West Germany,” said the prosecution office.
“Investigations are ongoing, because raids are part of the initial investigation of alleged drug trafficking that involves a significant amount.”
The purpose of this operation is to secure evidence and assets related to alleged criminal activities, he added.
