Noa condemns the murder of travelers in Edo

Abuja (Reporter Core) The National Orientation Agency (Noa) has strongly condemned the gruesome killing of some travelers along Uromi Road in the state of Edo.

The General Manager of the Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu said that the action of the crowd remains illegal, inhuman and goes against the principles of justice and the right process.

Noa has extended the deepest condolences to the families of the victims and shares their pain in this difficult moment.

The DG said: “Every Nigerian, regardless of the background or position, deserves the right to a fair process and protection pursuant to the law.

He observed that the agency feels confident that the security agencies will go up to the occasion especially since President Bola Tinubu has directed a complete investigation and guarantees that those responsible for this atrocious act are brought to justice.

The DG said that “the real Nigerians are known for their unity, respect for human rights and adhesion to the rule of law. Every time there are suspicions of crime, citizens should refer to appropriate security agencies rather than resorting to extrajudicial actions.
