The declaration said: “Unfortunately, our dear state, IMO, has lost an illustrious son, an intentional statesman, a leader of the community par excellence and a paternal figure who shared in our vision of a state in which transparency, responsibility, state of law and good government are institutionalized.
“While we cry his disappearance, especially in a moment his wise adviser was more necessary to create the imagined state imagined that our founding fathers imagined, we also celebrate an extraordinary inheritance, built on excellence, foresight and an unstoppable commitment to progress.
“I can appeal to the federal government and the government of the state of imo to grant an immortality charged to this great icon, in recognition of its numerous impact contributions to nationality”.
Amadi has enhanced the virtues of the banking icon.
He added: “The news of the disappearance of Nda Pascal Gabriel Dozie, one of the most visionary entrepreneurs of Nigeria and astute national builders, has left a profound sense of loss in my heart.
“Yet I remain grateful to God for a truly accomplished life. His journey was a brilliant testimony of brilliance, innovation and an unrivaled dedication to the economic and technological progress of Nigeria.
“A real pioneer, Nda Pascal Dozie, former president of the Nigerian economic summit group and president of the Nigerian stock exchange, was not only the founder of Diamond Bank, but also a key architect of the modern financial sectors and the telecommunications of Nigeria.
“His leadership at Mtn Nigeria modeled a telecommunications revolution that transformed the digital panorama of the nation.
“In addition to his professional successes, he has been deeply admired through generations and in fact acclaimed globally for his integrity, humility and profound wisdom.
“On behalf of my family, the Jude and Juliana Foundation and the Mazi organization (TMO), we extend our deepest condolences to the Dozie family, in particular her beloved wife, Nda Chinyere, my brother Uzoma and his brothers, as well as the entire community of Egbu, Imolates and Nigerians in great.
“We pray that almighty God guarantees eternal rest to his kind soul and comfort to all those who cry, in the awareness that his life was a lighthouse of impact and service.”
