The founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC and Anap Business Jets Limited (Anap Jets), Atedo Peterside, accused the only Rivers State administrator, Admiral Ibok-eet IBA (Retd.) Appointed the people he described as “RIFF RAFF” to the Honorary Office in the state since his appointment.
Peterside, a political stakeholder in the state that made the accusation when he appeared as a guest on TV who appeared on Thursday night, challenged pity to tell Nigerians how he made a choice of gathering, and explained the new appointment from the sole administrator of the local government and others.
Peterside also warned Poor not to add shots to a tense situation in the state with a gathering promise, and warned that the only administrator did not have the right to come far from the cross river state to add fuel to the fire that had been burned in the river state.
He further warned that the people in the river would not fold their hands and witness someone from another state destroy their resources and ignited the situation, adding that the only administrator reads the brief or does not have an understanding of his role, and has, with his actions, inflamed the situation instead of helping to achieve the necessary stability and healing.
“You know, in every situation, I always believe to give people time to tell us who they are, what they apply, before you rush to judge,” said Peterside.
“When this single administrator is appointed, please check everywhere. I have never commented on him, his competence, integrity or anything. So what has changed?
“What has changed is that I think the single administrator wrongly reads his brief or he has no understanding of what his role is.
“And instead of coming to an inflamed situation with the intention to help achieve stability and healing, he may accidentally add fuel to the fire.
“The basis given, he made a number of promises. First of all, he appeared in an irregular way. I would say the executive was wrong. So he was a product of the executive that was legally wrong, and then the legislators would introduce the courage to use the sound to confirm his appointment.
“That, we all know, the sound does not make sense. It will never be able to prove two -thirds, because even at the House of Reps, we don’t even know how many people are in the room. I see TV photos.
“So, this is the person who comes in, knows he is on a cunning ground, in a cunning ground, and what has he done? You know, they say, make some promises, and I will tell you who you are. He made some promises, even the Rivers state election commission. He entered there, moved people, making promises.
“So, a man who himself may not have the right mandate in a serious country with a serious legal system now decides to increase insults to injury.
“I challenged him to tell the nation through what process he chose that he pointed out. Through what process he made an appointment?
“As I said, we know ourselves at Rivers State, you make many promises from the people you choose. I can tell you who you respect you with the people they pointed out, in my personal opinion, they are RIFF Raffs.
“So a man left the cross river state coming to the Rivers State in an inflamed situation. I challenged him to tell the nation what the process he used in making a gathering promise.
“Did he choose the person he knew personally when he was in the Navy? Who did he ask for a nomination? When did he produce some of these Raff Riffs?
“You have the election commission, and you bring some of the people you choose through a method that you cannot explain?
“Please, I challenged him to explain how he chose those people. So, do you want us to receive the elections made by some of the people he chose when we didn’t even know how they were mixed?
“And I think it’s rude to the people in the river state. He must be called to order immediately.
“There should be no mistake that we will sit forever and accept those appointed to God for our country and our resources,” he said.
