Allegations of worshipers on Sunday night killed four people in the living room of beer in Makurdi, the capital of the state.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Sewuese Anene, confirmed the incident to reporters in Makurdi.
He said many people suffered injuries in the incident.

Anene said: “The alleged cult attack on Akpehe was confirmed, and the investigation had begun.
“Four people are confirmed dead while others are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.”
He warned the criminals in the state to quit crime or prepare to face full law’s wrath.
