Police operations at Akwa Ibom have arrested two armed robbers and worshipers in the state.
They also recover firearms in operations.
Spokesman for the State Police Command, Timfon John, revealed this in a statement on Saturday at UYO.
The statement reads: “Following the credible intelligence regarding the upcoming cult clashes along the Calabar-It road, the command quickly mobilizes the intelligence team and supervision to precede violence.

“The intelligence report noted that the two famous gang leaders, who had terrorized the Calabar-that-pivot, were staying at a guesthouse in Ntak Inyang.
“On May 1, around 05.00, the surveillance team, acted based on the right information, raided the identified hiding place.
“The operation resulted in the arrest of two male suspects identified as Joseph Edet from Akon Itam and Ekon Isaiah from my mother Uruan, who was confirmed as a member of the Kuflux Klan secret cult.”
