PDP Regarding Life Support, May collapsed before 2027, former Governor, Suswam, warned in the midst of a deepest party crisis

When the internal crisis in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), former Governor and Senator of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, had issued a terrible warning that the party could stop existed before the 2027 general election if the reconciliation effort was difficult and sincere was not done.

Speaking during an interview on the Morning Arise Television program on Tuesday, Suswam painted a gloomy picture of the current state of the opposition party, equating it with patients in critical condition.

Many people depend on, waiting to see the end of this party, “said Suswam, added,” Is there a light at the end of the tunnel in an effort made by Senator Saraki – which will be seen in the next two weeks. For now, I will say that PDP, is there a hospital? Yes. Is there in the ICU. For now, “it exists.

PDP is currently wrestling with various internal crises, including the leadership struggle for the position of the National Secretary, as well as a high profile feud between the Minister of Capital City Federal Nyesom Wike and the Deferred Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara-Fubara-conflict that has a very thwarting party ranks.

Suswam noted that while the situation was worrying, there was still a narrow window for redemption, most of them depended on the ongoing intervention led by the former President of the Bukola Saraki Senate, together with the Governor of PDP and the former Governor.

He added that the current disappointment among party members had created an atmosphere where some people were more eager to witness the collapse of the PDP than fighting for their resurrection.

“Is it in the ICU to a certain extent? Yes, that,” said Suswam. “Can it be saved? Yes, if the right medicine is applied.”

He concluded that the next two weeks would be very important in determining whether the peace initiative led by Saraki could breathe a new life into the party or whether the PDP would slide into irrelevant, unable to present a proper opposition platform ahead of the 2027 election.
