Tinubu returns home after attending the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV in Rome

Tinubu Bola President on Tuesday returned to the country after attending the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV in Rome.

The president joined other world leaders at the inauguration of the United States -born Pope on Saturday.

President Tinubu also met with the presidential candidate of the Labor Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, and former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, at the event.

Pope Leo XIV, real name, Robert Prevost, was chosen as the head of the 267th Catholic Church on May 8.

President Tinubu was accepted at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday night
by the Minister of Federal Capital Region, Nyesom Wike; Federation Government Secretary, George Akume; and National Chairperson of all Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje.
