Ipob insisted on May 30th sitting at home in the southeast

The native of Biafra, (IPOB), has insisted totally sitting at home and complete locking in the southeast to mark the Biafra Heroes’ Day on May 30.

It is said that the day was allocated to respect the heroes of Igbo who sacrificed their lives during the Nigerian/Biafran war.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the Secretary of the Media and Publicity, Emma Powerful, the separatist group condemned what was described as an attempt to change the name of the Biafra Heroes’ Day as’ IgBO Day ‘, calling it an insult to the memories of millions of people who died in the BIFRA war and blame the “politician opportunities.”

The group also announced that they would mark Biafra Heroes’ Day with traditional sitting houses throughout Biafran and globally, which would display prayers, lectures, and in case.

Strong, who sent a strong warning to groups like Ohanaze Ndi Igbo because it advocated that that day had to be replaced into ‘IgBO Day,’ confirmed that Ipob “was disappointed with the position of a handful of political charlatan which suggested that ‘Biafra Day which was recognized globally’ from the 30 days which was changed.” Igbo.

“Let it be understood strongly, Biafra is bigger than any single ethnic group. Our martyrs come from Annang, Ibibio, Efik, Oron, Ijaw, IGBO and other countries that stand shoulder to shoulder when the world turns back to us,” the statement sounded in part.

“To delete their sacrifice by making them fainted to be a parochial label is the height of historical illiteracy.

“Name,” Biafra “cannot be negotiated. From ancient maps in 1425 to the Proclamation of 1967, Biafra preceded Britain itself. This is a sacred belief engraved in the blood of more than three million people.

“There is no arm funnel, hiding behind the robes of the tattered Ohaneze factional communication, ‘has a mandate or moral stature to tinker with it.

“Heroes Day is not a political jamboree. This is a serious agreement from a warning, comparable to the annual European annual obedience, where Biafrans worldwide stands still for the fall.

“Anyone who intends to stag the repeat action must limit themselves to the Nigerian political corridor where the sycophes are transactions, and leave the management of our collective memory to Ipob and families who died.

“This is the last warning. IPOB will no longer appreciate the future provocation with an extended rebuttal. Those who live from government allowances will be able to direct their energy to praise that sings that pay rent and stop staining inheritance that is soaked in blood from our heroes.

“On May 30, 2025, Ipob will, as usual, observe a full and peaceful sitting house in the entire Biafran and Diaspora region. We invite our friends, supporters and men and women conscience to join us in prayer, lecture, and wax awareness to respect everyone who pays the highest prices we live.”
