Kogi Partners Frsc on the lighting of road users to avoid accidents – Thage

Concerned about the high rate of auto-crash throughout the state of Kogi, the governor Ahmed Usman Ododo expressed promptness to collaborate with the Federal Road Safety Corps (Frsc), on the lighting of road users to embrace the traffic rules that would reduce the trend to the lowest minimum.

Ododo gave the indication through the state commissioner for information and communications, Kingsley Fanwo, when he invited the commander of the Kogi state sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps, to Lokoja Tuesday.

Fanwo transmitted the serious concern of the governor Ododo for the loss of souls of innocence caused by incessant road accidents in recent times and has asked for joint efforts by the maintenance agencies Frsc, Govt and road to face bad development.

He said that the recent Automatic Crash Long Obajana Road that caused the life of 19 people and left the other seriously injured eight is an emblematic example.

“The state government of Kogi undertakes to use the media organizations owned by the state and that of federal platforms and other online platforms in collaboration with the FRSC to perform aggressive lighting on the ways to protect our roads and people”

He praised the efforts of the Frsc Kogi State Command in ensuring that our roads remain free from any form of accidents and urged the sector commander to support time.

By responding, the commander of the state sector of Kogi della Frsc, Kumar Tsukwam, assured the governor Ododo of his preparation to undertake the partnership lighting project with the state government to arrest the growing cases of road accidents on our highways.

“I intend to immediately constitute an illuminating committee composed of road agencies, medicine, media and government that would facilitate the success of our aggressive public commitment to avoid road accidents,” promised the commander of the sector.
