FFC claims the passengers on cruise ships have been “kidnapped by Israeli troops” and released pre-sling messages from them after previously saying that “Israeli soldiers have boarded” ships.

Climate campaign MS Thunberg22, is one of the dozens of activists above Madleen, who sailed from Sicilia on May 1 on a mission aimed at breaking the Israeli Sea blockade.

Rima Hassan, a member of the French parliament of Europe, who is a Palestinian descent, is also on the ship.

He has been prohibited from entering Israel because of its opposition to Israel’s policies towards Palestinians.

Hassan wrote at X when the FFC cruise ship was allegedly surrounded by another ship: “The crew of the freedom of freedom is captured by Israeli soldiers in international waters around 2 am.”

The transfer of Madleen came after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that he had instructed the Israeli defense forces to prevent ships from reaching the coast and to “take any action needed”.

Why did Greta sail to Gaza?

Israel began to allow some basic assistance to Gaza last month after a total of three months blockade aimed at suppressing Hamas and preventing groups to import weapons.

But humanitarian workers have warned of starvation unless there is an end to the 20 -month block and war, which was lit by an attack led by Hamas in South Israel on October 7, 2023.

Last month’s efforts by Freedom Flotilla to reach Gaza in the sea failed after other ships from the group ships were attacked by two drones while sailing in international waters outside Malta.

The group blamed Israel for the attack, which damaged the front of the ship.
