PDP slammed Tinubu over the benut massacre, accusing the president’s ignorance of national murder

The Democratic People’s Party (PDP) has strongly condemned the new wave of violence in the state of Benue, accusing the President of the Tinubu soccer and the administration of his ignorance and failure to overcome the unsafe situation that worsened throughout the country.

In a statement released on Monday by the Secretary of the National Publication of the Party, Debo Osologiagba, PDP expressed a deep anger over what he described as a “terrible massacre” of more than 200 Nigerians, including children, in Benue, calling it a terrible reflection of all progressive led by the Progressive Government (APC) led by the government on the core responsibility.

“The Democratic Party of the people in a very strong term condemned the horrific massacre of more than 200 Nigerians, including children, in the state of Benue, describing it as another terrible chapter in the history of our nation under the government of the congress of all progressive that was not responsive,” the statement said.

Osounagba detailed how terrorists and bandits reportedly stormed and destroyed the community in coordinated attacks, killing hundreds of civilians while the Tinubu government was allegedly remained silent and not prohibited.

“PDP is worried about reports about how terrorists and bandits invaded and invaded the community in a series of coordinated daily -blooded attacks, releasing violence, killing hundreds of unmatched unmatched companions, while APC’s statement led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was mostly uncomfortable,” the statement continued.

“It is clear that the attackers who amaze the people in various states in our country are brave by the lethargic approaches of President Tinubu towards security and alleged involvement of APC which fails explicitly face the situation given the reported relations with terrorist interests.”

Describing the attack was terrible and traumatic, PDP accused Tinubu of ignoring the severity of the situation.

“It is traumatic to watch bloody photos and videos of Nigerians killed in cold blood in the state of Benue and other parts of the country while President Tinubu and APC continue as if everything is fine.”

The party insisted that Tinubu had to be responsible directly for the deteriorating security crisis.

“President Tinubu must be considered responsible for murder in Nigeria after not showing the expected will and commitment of a commander in the war against terrorism in our country.
Conversely, he mostly remained alone and was forced to pass the money with his aide issued a press statement without the president’s actions that urged to ensure the security of citizens. “

PDP also accused Tinubu’s administration of leaving the main task of the government while focusing on political ambitions.

“A clear fact is that the President of Tinubu and APC has been overwhelmed and has left the security and welfare of citizens who are the main objectives of the government. Conversely, they focus on politics and illusive re -election in 2027 while leaving the nation under compassion that killed more than 600,000 Nigerians in the last two years.”

Calling for urgent actions, PDP demanded that the President take over the command of a security situation.

“PDP accused President Tinubu to end the sluggish approach to security. He must show leadership as the Supreme Commander and lead from the front by immediately visiting the problematic community in the Benue state and taking decisive action to end the murder in the country.”

Apart from his strong criticism of the federal government, PDP expressed his appreciation for the efforts of security personnel and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

It is said that it remains grateful to the Nigerian security forces “for their courage and dedication in protecting the nation,” and encouraged them to remain firm in their duties to protect life and property throughout the country.
