Naira spilled N0.23 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, dropped further against the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Foreign exchange data of Bank Nigeria (CBN) central bank shows that Naira is closed on N1, 549.26/$ 1 compared to N1.549.03/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This is the loss of N0.23 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained the N20 against the dollar to trade at N1.575/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.595/$ 1.

Local currencies also obtained N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.175/£ 1 compared to the previous N2.180/£ 1.

However, it was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained the N10 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,790/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
