The president of the APC of Nasarawa is suspended for alleged anti-Party-Thage activities

The president of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Nasarawa, Aliyu Bello, was suspended with immediate effect on the alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

A declaration by the president of the party in his department of Lafia Gayam, Ibrahim Iliyasu, said that the suspension followed a unanimous decision by all the party officials in the ward.

Accusing beautiful of an alleged violation of article 21 of the party’s constitution, Iliyasu said: “We, the executive members signed by the All Progressives Congress, Gayam Ward in the local government of Lafia of the State of Nasarawa, we write to formally suspend, Hon. Aliyu Bello, from the party (all the progress of the congress) with the immediate congress.

“This decision was born following an investigation into the complaints from the members of the department of your anti-play activities contrary to article 21 of the APC (modified) Constitution, which outlines the conduct envisaged by the members and disciplinary measures to be adopted against infringements.

“In particular, we have credible evidence and relationships that you have opened and made a campaign for a member of another political party, in direct violation of article 21, paragraph I), (II) and (VII) they prohibit; (a) engage in acts that tend to return the party in a tie.

“Your actions have caused embarrassment for the party, undermining the credibility of our collective efforts and constitute a serious violation of the loyalty and the discipline of the party.

“In line with the powers invested in the United States as managers of the department pursuant to Article 21 (D) (i)-(III) of the establishment of the APC, and after having widely consulted the parties concerned within the department, we resolved as follows; that you, the Hon. Aliyu Bello, you are suspended by all the progressives of the Congress (APC) with an immediate effect waiting for investigation and discipline by a higher part.

“That this resolution is communicated to the APC Executive Committee of the Local Government of Lafia, the State Executive Committee of Nasarawa and the National Working Committee (NWC) for the ratification and further necessary actions.

“We urge you to refrain from parading yourself as a member of the party pending the conclusion of this process. Accept the insurance of our most esteemed greetings as always.”
