Bale tables offers for the Cardiff City girl club

Gareth Bale has presented an offer of £ 40 million to buy his beloved city of Cardiff City.

A consortium led by Bale has been in the market to buy a football team, since it has already been linked to a failed movement to acquire in Plymouth Argyle.

The current owner of Cardiff, Vincent Tan, who lives in Malaysia, is open to selling the Welsh club, which were relegated from the championship to the League one in May.

The conversations are being carried out behind the scene between Cardiff and a private capital group based in the United States, reports The Times.

And now (through the sun) an official offer has been presented, with a value of less than half of the £ 86 million paid by Real Madrid to Tottenham for Bale in 2013.

The Legend of Wales spoke publicly for the first time about its plans to take care of the League one club at the European premiere of F1: the film in London at the end of June.

Bale, 35, said: “We are interested in getting Cardiff. It’s my local club, it is where I grew up and my uncle used to play for them.

“Participating in a property group would be a dream come true. I would love to be part of Cardiff’s cultivation and take it to the Premier League, where it belongs.”

Bale was born in the Welsh capital in 1989 and his uncle Chris Pike was a prolific striker in the blue birds between the year of birth of his nephew and 1993.

According to the reports, Cardiff has already rejected a first unleashed offer made by the Consortium led by Bale.

Cardiff City has competed in the Premier League for two seasons (2013-14 and 2018-19).

Cardiff City is the only team outside England that has won the FA Cup, doing so in 1927. Another three Cup finals in English competitions have also reached the 1925 Cup Fa final against Sheffield United, the FA 2008 Cup final against Portsmouth and the 2012 Football League Cup final against Liverpool, which suffers the defeat on each occasion.
