I urge the press to ignore any speculative titles that suggest my defection on the side. It is essential to clarify that not all individuals who share the surname Yar’adua imply a political association with me.

I believe that some media are working in malice making such insinuations that I deserted from the APC.

As President of the Senate Committee for the Army and the Forum of the Senators of the North, I am busy working closely with the leadership of the Senate to push the legislative reforms that complete the activities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

In the last two years we have witnessed the President’s concerted efforts to increase assignments to local states and governments, funding in critical infrastructures, such as agriculture and roads, as well as mass recruitment in safety agencies to strengthen the safety of lives and properties.

As a political leader, I believe that we must join the president to make this administration success and ensure that the common man feels the impact of the reforms of the federal government led by the APC.

I am busy in the APC and I will work with the leaders of the whole Council to guarantee the unity, progress and prosperity of all the Nigerians.
