The Bádminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) has officially presented the Gig Logistics (Gigl) as a sponsor of Nigeria para-badminton sensation, Eniola Mariam Bolaji, on its trip to the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.
The announcement was made in a great presentation ceremony in Abuja on Thursday attended by sports administrators, corporate leaders and members of the sports community, which marked a new chapter in Nigeria’s impulse to support their athletes on the world stage.
Eniola, currently classified to No. 2 of the world, has enjoyed a phenomenal career in 2025, winning gold medals in the two Spanish internationals Para-Badminton, International Egypt Para-Badminton and the British and Irish international for Badminton in Wales.
He also made history with a bronze medal in the Paralympics of Paris, becoming the first African to win a medal at the Olympic or Paralympic Games in Bádminton or for Bádminton.
With an undefeated streak of 14 championships and 14 gold medals, Eniola stands as one of the most dominant athletes of the Global Para-Badminton.
The logistics of the concert will cover the sponsorship of Blaji’s participation in at least three important championships annually, in the next four years on the way to Los Angeles 2028 Olympic, which covers trips, logistics, equipment and kits.
Speaking in the presentation, Francis Orbih, Esq., President of the Bádminton Federation of Nigeria, described the association as a transformer.
