The open of the NPFL 2025/2026 season between reigning champions, Remo Stars and Rivers United ended with a stalemate.

The game that was decided in the Temporary home of Remo Stars at the Mko Sports Arena in Abeokuta finished one -to -minds with goals by Victor Mbaoma for the host and Aniekeme Okon for visitors.
