[Press Release] In response to the recent press release of the South West Progressive Vanguard (SWPV), we would like to clarify the efforts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the wave state regarding the continuous recording exercise of the voters continuously at national level.

The APC has been mobilizing proactively its members in all 203 departments in the state of ondo and the feedback that we have received was encouraging. Since the beginning of the elector’s recording exercise, our party has quickly acted instructing our members to commit themselves to suitable citizens and encourage them to participate in this vital democratic process.

It is important to note that the low turnout perceived in urban areas can be attributed to our basic mobilization strategy, which has focused on the achievement of the communities at the local level. In addition, also the limited number of eligible voters for the first time, those who turned eighteen from the last recording exercise during the Governorate’s elections influenced the numbers.

We believe that giving the governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is not necessary, since this is basically a party deal. The governor has constantly ordered the part of fulfilling his responsibilities in this sense. While the Independent National Electoral Commission (INC) plays the main role of educating the public on the registration of voters, the APC, under the guidance of the governor Aiyedatiwa, has taken the initiative to improve the efforts of awareness and mobilization through our vast network of party members.

We encourage the elderly adrewale Jackson and the South West Progressive Vanguard to redirect their efforts to support this important initiative, rather than launching unjustified estates on the governor. It is essential that all the parties concerned work in collaboration to inform and involve citizens of the State of Ondo on their right right and responsibility to register and vote in the next elections.

Together, we can strengthen our party and ensure that every eligible citizen is authorized to participate in the democratic process.
