“I am really honored to be associated with the Unity games of the 2025 kingdom,” he said.

“Although my background is in engineering and in the sector of power, I have always supported the unity, peace and development of youth. Sport is an important powerful tool to achieve these objectives. This event is more than simple competition: it is of promotion of peace, regardless of ethnicity, religion or tribe.”

Engr. Joseph, an international chess player and former secretary of Nigerian Nepa Chess Association, recalled his experiences of organizing chess tournaments that have brought together people from the whole sector of power. According to him, these events demonstrate how sport can transcend barriers and encourage a sense of shared identity.

We have gone from the analog era to a digital era, and it is important that our young people grow up with the times. Unity games provide a platform to express themselves positively, build discipline and find a purpose,” he said.
