The Russians who hold a valid passport will no longer have to request a visa when they entered China from September 15, according to the local media of Russia on Tuesday.
An official of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the new regulation, which applied for a maximum of 30 days, would be in force for a year of trial of one year.
The current rules allow the Russians to travel to China of diplomatic or official and there is a bilateral agreement on group travel without visas.
The announcement came when Russian President Vladimir Putin was on a four -day state visit to China, meeting the Chinese president Xi Jinping in Beijing on Tuesday.
The two leaders highlighted strong bilateral relationships.
China is considered to be the main supporter of Russia in its war against Ukraine.
