The army stops the female logistics provider connected to the Zamfara bandits, others

The Nigerian army has announced new discoveries in its national operations against terrorists and criminal bands, arresting a well -known female logistics provider presumably connected to the Kingpin of Bandit di Zamfara, Ado Aliero.

The arrest, conducted between 4 and 6 September 2025, arrived while the troops intensified authorization operations through Zamfara, Borno, Adamawa, Plateau and the territory of the federal capital (FCT), in recovery weapons, oil products and a vehicle stolen in the process.

According to an operational relationship, the troops of 1 brigade, in collaboration with the agents of the Department of State Services (DSS), arrested the female suspicion in Kucheri, in the area of ​​the local government Tsafe in the state of Zamfara.

It was found with ₦ 37.000, a cell phone and other articles, and subsequently confessed to being involved in the vindical of drugs.

In the state of Borno, the soldiers of the 192 battalion, supported by the hybrid force, involved fighters of the Islamic State of the Province of West Africa (ISWAP) and the Faction of Boko Haram Jas in the village of Kwatara Kasa along the Gwoza -Limankara road. A rebel was neutralized, while others retired to the Mandara mountains.

In the same way, in the state of Adamawa, the troops of the Battalion 232 intercepted two suspicious smugglers in the area of ​​the local government of the southern Mubi, with 19 Jerrycans of oil products in their possession.

In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the agents of the 176 guards battalion mounted a checkpoint that intercepted a stolen vehicle traced by the state of Osun.

Although the suspicions initially started, they were subsequently tracked down in a hotel in Gwagwalada, where three of them were arrested. The recovered items included the vehicle, 11 cell phones and ₦ 29,700, which were delivered to the police.

In the state of the plateau, the troops under the lasting operation of peace recorded another success after an informant detained to Dadin Kowo brought them to a hidden cache of weapons in the village of mixed wings, in the area of ​​the local government of Bassa.

Attempting to escape, the informant was neutralized. Two AK-47 rifles were recovered from the hiding place.

The spokesman for the Nigerian army, the lieutenant colonel apolonia alele, said that the latest results have been part of deliberate measures to dismantle terrorist structures, block the logistical supply chains and weaken the operational capacity of the criminal groups.

He assured that the army would support the momentum, in particular in the rural areas where insecurity threatened agricultural activities and food production.

“Our troops remain committed to denying terrorists and criminals the freedom to operate, while guaranteeing communities enjoying peace necessary for agriculture and other socio-economic activities,” said Alele.

Safety experts say that the arrest of a female logistics supplier is significant, given the growing dependence on terrorist groups on women for the collection of discreet intelligence and the operations of the supply chain.
