The Japanese police said on Thursday that she arrested a 75 -year -old woman who would have confessed to keeping her daughter’s body in a freezer for two decades.
The investigators on Tuesday found the body of an adult woman in a deep freezer at Keiko Mori’s house in the prefecture of Ibaraki, north –ast of Tokyo, said a local police spokesman on condition of anonymity.
Mori “he said he was his daughter”, Makiko, who was born in 1975 and would have had 49 or 50 years if I live, said the spokesperson.
“The decay was advancing,” he added, observing that an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Tuesday Mori came to the police with a relative to report that he had held the body in the freezer.
When the investigators visited the house with Mori, they found the body dressed with a shirt and an underwear, on the knees face down inside the freezer, said the spokesperson.
Mori was arrested for suspicion of abandoning a body.
He told investigators that the smell was filling the house in order to buy the freezer and put the body of his daughter, according to the spokesman.

Mori had several children, but the police did not reveal how many or what they had told Makiko investigators.
He lived alone from his husband’s death at the beginning of this month, said the spokesman.
