On that fateful day, corporal Iweh should have been on duty in the army shops, 6 battalions, Ibagwa, Abak, but abandoned his assignment to commit crime.

Later he was tracked down to Andy Guest House in Ukanafun, many kilometers from the crime scene, where he was arrested and the rifle recovered.

In a sentence, the judge of the trial, the judge Bassey Nkanang, said that the accusation has shown beyond any reasonable doubt that corporal Iweh, originally from Ameke Nkor in the area of ​​the local government of Ngor Okpala of the state of imo, killed Christopher enobong, an indigenous, an indigenous of the ikot abasi, and his car robbed him, while he robbed him. He was armed with an AK-47 Hak.

Judge Nkanang sentenced him on charges of three counts.

In his reason for mercy, the prisoner implored the court for what he described as a “soft landing”, but his own Allocutus was rejected.

The late Christopher Jimmy survived his 34 -year -old widow, Arit, who told in tears that his husband had left Port Harcourt to visit his sister and his family at Ikot Abasi, but did not return home.
