Orders of the Court arresting the President of the Inc, Prof. Yakubu

The High Federal Court sitting in Osogbo, the capital of the state of Osun, ordered the police inspector general, Kayode Egbetokun to arrest the president, the independent national electoral commission, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu, for contempt and disobedience of the court orders.

By obtaining a sentence in the question that involves the action alliance and INC, the Court chaired by the judge Funmilola Demi-Ajayi, he believed that Mahmoud Yakubu and Iner made a mistake by refusing to honor his previous judgment that directed the Incen and its president to recognize all the presidential presidents elected under the Adkunle Rufaje Omoaje.

The Action Alliance had through his lawyer, Ko Etibo, applied for the forms 48 and 49, even if he tried to commit Mahmoud Yakubu prison for a flat disobedience of the orders of the court.

Judge Demi-Ajayi in his sentence delivered on Monday, also assigned a cost of #100.000 against the president of the Inc.

The Court gave seven days Ultimatum to Inc and its president to restore the names of all the presidents elected under the guidance of Omoaje to the Commission portal or face the arrest of the police.

Judge Demi-Ajayi argued that the national convention that produced Omoaje as national president of the party and other members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) at the Obasanjo Obasanjo presidential library, Abekuta was valid as it was monitored by INSC officials and in line with the establishment of the party and electoral acts.
