Abiru celebrates Adeboye’s 60th birthday, praises SSA’s impact on grassroots sports development

Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, has congratulated the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a heartfelt goodwill message released on Tuesday, Senator Abiru described the experienced grassroots sports promoter and political leader as a committed public servant whose contributions to sports development and youth empowerment continue to inspire many across Nigeria.

Abiru noted that the appointment of Adeboye as Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development reflects his long-standing dedication to nurturing young talents and promoting sports as a powerful tool for discipline, social inclusion and national development.

According to the Lagos East lawmaker, Adeboye’s efforts in grassroots sports have helped create opportunities for young Nigerians, giving them platforms to discover their talents and channel their energies into productive ventures.

“His role as Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development speaks to his long dedication to nurturing sporting talents and promoting sports as a tool for social inclusion, discipline and nation-building. Through his work, countless young people across the country have found inspiration and a path to productive engagement,” Abiru said.

The senator also acknowledged Adeboye’s contributions to the growth and stability of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State and across the country, commending his loyalty and commitment to progressive politics.
