The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter, has congratulated Sports Administrator Charles Chukwuemeka Nnadi on his appointment as the South East Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO).

In a statement jointly signed by the chapter president, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, and secretary, Tunde Liadi, the association described Nnadi’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his long-standing contributions to sports administration and youth development.

The Imo SWAN leadership noted that Nnadi has over the years built a reputation as a passionate and committed sports administrator, particularly in football development, earning respect across the South East and beyond.

According to the association, his appointment reflects the confidence placed in his leadership qualities, administrative competence and experience in grassroots mobilization.

“Charles Nnadi has demonstrated uncommon commitment, vision and integrity in sports administration over the years. His appointment is not only well deserved, but is also a testament to his ability to inspire and lead,” the statement read.

Imo SWAN expressed confidence that Nnadi’s expertise would add value to the activities of the Tinubu Support Organization in the South East, while promoting initiatives that encourage youth engagement and sports development in line with the Renewed Hope agenda of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.

Nnadi, a former welfare officer of Heartland FC, was among the six zonal coordinators installed in Abuja on Tuesday with the mandate to organize football competitions in the geopolitical zones, train coaches and officials, as well as identify budding talents nationwide.

The association prayed for a successful and impactful tenure for the new South East coordinator, urging him to continue his efforts towards the growth of sports and the empowerment of youth in the region.
