Governor Uba Sani said President Bola Tinubu’s leadership was characterized by courage, clarity of vision and unwavering commitment to repositioning Nigeria towards sustainable progress.
The governor further stated that “under the Renewed Hope Agenda, our nation is seeing bold, transformative reforms that are laying a solid foundation for long-term growth and shared prosperity.”
“In agriculture and agribusiness, targeted interventions are boosting productivity, restoring farmer confidence and strengthening food systems across the country.
“In the oil and gas sector, far-reaching reforms are improving efficiency, promoting transparency and securing the future of our energy economy,” he added.
Governor Uba Sani made the remarks in his welcome address at the North West zone conference of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday.
He argued that “through decisive fiscal and fiscal policy measures, the administration is stabilizing the economy and creating pathways for inclusive development.
“The introduction of the student loan scheme has opened new doors of opportunity for our young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder educational progress.”
According to him, there is massive investment in infrastructure across the country, including roads, rail and energy, which is reconnecting communities, boosting trade and unlocking new economic opportunities.
Governor Uba Sani, who is the Coordinating Governor of the APC Northwest Zone, said “these achievements are not abstract; they are real, visible and impactful. They are life-changing.”
“In Kaduna State and across the North West, we are the direct beneficiaries of this focused leadership,” he added.
“Safety has improved, farmers are returning to their fields, markets are thriving again and trust in our communities has been steadily restored. These results reinforce our belief that the path we have chosen as a party is the right one,” he said.
The governor emphasized to the delegates that ”this Congress is not just about selecting leadership; it’s about strengthening our unity, deepening our structures and aligning our strategies for the future.”
He urged delegates to approach this process with a sense of fairness, discipline and responsibility, adding that “let our conduct reflect the democratic values we proudly uphold.”
Governor Uba Sani welcomed Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State and Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, as well as their many supporters to the APC.
”We welcome you with open arms, in a spirit of unity, mutual respect and shared destiny. Your decision to identify with the APC is not only momentous, but profoundly strengthens the collective vision, depth and national perspective of our Party,” he said.
