VeryDarkMan apologizes to Sowore – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

Social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has publicly apologized to human rights activist Omoyele Sowore for previous comments made on Sowore’s finances.

In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan admitted that his previous remarks about how Sowore financed his son’s education and earned a living were off the mark.

He explained that the comments were based on incomplete information and acknowledged that he should not have made the claims.

The influencer said that after finding more details online, including discussions about Sahara Reporters’ earnings, he realized his previous assumptions were wrong.

Reports suggesting the platform generates significant monthly revenue and other financial estimates on Sowore have contributed to his change of perspective.

According to him, the exchange between the two figures was unnecessary and could have been avoided.

He expressed regret over the situation and said he no longer saw any reason to question Sowore’s financial capacity.

VeryDarkMan also apologized to his followers, noting that he takes responsibility whenever he makes mistakes and urging others to learn from the situation.

The apology followed several days of online exchanges between the two personalities, which had sparked reactions on social media.
