PRP Upholds Primary Election Results, Fields Donald Duke, 420 Others Nationwide for 2027 Election

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) said it has completed its review of the primary election appeal committee report, and has approved the report.

Therefore, it is affirmed that former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke was validly elected as the presidential candidate of the party in the 2027 general elections.

This was revealed on Tuesday in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ishaq.

The statement said “the primaries appeal committee also upheld the results of four other primaries. All other candidates have been allowed to contest the upcoming elections, except Tarauni Federal Constituency, for which elections have been cancelled.

“In line with our commitment to actively participate in the election process, PRP is proud to nominate a total of 420 candidates from all positions in the 2027 elections.
