BBNaija: Season 11 Winner to Receive Record First Prize of ₦160 Million

MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that season 11 of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show will premiere on July 26, with the winner expected to take home a record first prize of ₦160 million.

The organizers made this known in a statement on Thursday.

According to MultiChoice, the grand prize of $160 million includes a cash sum of ₦100 million and a brand new SUV.

The prize is the largest in the show’s history since its debut in 2006, raising the stakes for what is expected to be another milestone season.

Organizers said the launch show will air from 7pm on the Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family channels, with the 24-hour show on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49.

BBNaija fans are also expected to watch the show live via DStv Stream and GOtv Stream.

According to the organisers, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as the host of the show.

“Viewers can expect a season full of unexpected twists, dynamic tasks, strategic gameplay, fun challenges and authentic interactions that have made Big Brother Naija one of the most-watched reality TV franchises in Africa,” the statement read.

Organizers added that weekly live eviction shows will return, with the public participating through public voting to determine which contestants will remain in the competition.
