Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi made his long-awaited return to action as a second-half substitute, helping Olympique de Marseille secure a comfortable 2-0 victory over Troyes in Sunday’s Ligue 1 encounter at the Stade de l’Aube.
The Nigeria international, who has faced a frustrating spell on the sidelines due to injury this season, was introduced in the 73rd minute to replace Kamissoko, marking his third league appearance of the campaign.
After a closely contested first half that ended goalless, Marseille broke the deadlock shortly after the restart. In the 50th minute, Amine Harit took advantage of a pass from Emerson Palmieri to put the visitors ahead.

Troyes pushed hard for an equaliser, hitting the woodwork twice and applying heavy late pressure, but Bruno Genesio’s side maintained a disciplined defensive block with Nnadi helping to anchor the midfield in the closing stages.
Already in added time, substitute Himad Abdelli calmly converted a penalty in the 90th minute to extinguish any hope of a Troyes comeback and seal the three points for the visitors.
