Calzona Confident Osimhen will Return to Top Form

Osimhen proved he is still Napoli’s main man, scoring for the second consecutive game, marking a positive comeback after his return to the club from international duty.

Calzona, speaking to DAZN via Football Italia, addressed concerns about Osimhen’s fatigue, stating that “He was only tired. Victor is a fantastic guy. He scored two goals in two matches and will slowly get back in shape.”

Highlighting Osimhen’s recent contributions, Calzona acknowledged the challenges faced by players returning from tournaments.

“Don’t forget he played at AFCON. Players are devastated when they return,” the Napoli boss said.
