Spain emerged as Euro 2024 champions after beating England 2-1 in the final on Sunday.
It was another heartbreak for England who have lost back-to-back finals and extended their drought of a major trophy to 58 years.
After a goalless first half, Nico Williams opened the scoring in the 47th minute before substitute Cole Palmer gave England hope in the 73rd minute.
The Three Lions continued to press for a winner, but it was Alvaro Morata’s replacement, Mikel Oyarzabal, who scored the winner for Spain.
Oyarzabal tapped in a beautiful cross in the 86th minute as the England defender’s knee helped him escape an offside position.
