Actor Richardo Agbor has told how he waited 18 years to have children

Nollywood actor Ricardo Agbor says he and his wife had to wait 18 years after their wedding before they were blessed with children, who turned out to be twins.

The actor shared his experiences in an interview with AfricanAList published on Sunday, where he spoke about his marriage, his faith and the challenges he faced before having children.

Agbor said he remained committed to his wife during the long wait and never considered leaving her.

“I wanted to marry a certain woman; I married her regardless of where she came from. She was not from my tribe. So normally, we should have had disagreements; no, that was very fair,” he said.

Speaking about their struggle to have children, Agbor said he prayed especially for twins and remained true to his faith despite waiting 18 years.

“It took me 18 years to have twins. And I waited. I don’t know, 18 years and now they’re 14, so I told God that I want twins.

“So while the waiting was going on, if it was someone else, he would have crossed over. But in the end, I had twins. I had a boy and a girl. I asked God what I wanted,” he added.
