Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has come under fire from social media critics over comments she made during the #Endbadgovernance nationwide protests.
Recall that the mother of one in a post on her official Instagram page while sharing her thoughts on the protests condemned the violent actions carried out by some protesters.
“Today is August 1, the first day of nationwide protests in Nigeria. We all know that the masses are suffering and want a better way of life, that is why there are protests. There is nothing wrong with protests, but violence is wrong,” he said.
“Once violence breaks out, the purpose of the protest will be lost. I urge everyone to try to make this protest as peaceful as possible,” the actor wrote on Instagram.

The comments made by the actress also received cynical reactions from a number of critics on social media who criticized her for making such comments even though she knew very well that she was married to a billionaire and did not necessarily feel the suffering of ordinary people.
