Head coach Ademola Adeshina of Trade Safe Sports FC expressed disappointment following the team’s loss to Solution FC in the NNL match opener at the Awka City Stadium in Anambra on Saturday.
Despite acknowledging Solution FC as a formidable opponent, Adeshina conveyed regret over not securing the anticipated three points.

“I feel bad because of the result because my plan was for the team to come here and secure the 3 points, but as it is now, we don’t have an option but to go back and prepare for our next home game,” Coach Adeshina commented in a post-match interview with Sports 247.
While recognizing Solution FC’s strength, he emphasized the need for thorough preparation for upcoming matches in the season.
Adeshina conveyed satisfaction with the players’ performance but highlighted the importance of addressing certain corrections to enhance their preparedness for the next game.
He candidly acknowledged a few lapses that needed attention to strengthen the team’s overall game play.
Regarding officiating, Coach Adeshina offered a diplomatic perspective, stating, “The officiating was not bad. This is Nigeria for you.”
Acknowledging the realities of football in the country, he maintained composure in his assessment of the match’s officiating.
Expressing gratitude to the team’s supporters, Adeshina recognized the significance of their unwavering belief.
