Armed men kill men, kidnapped wife, sister in Edo

Armed people are suspected to be kidnappers on Monday killing one Friday Pius and kidnapped his wife who was pregnant in the state of Edo.

They also kidnapped the sister of the deceased in the Uluoke community, Uzairue, the region of the West Etsako Regional Government in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, CSP Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday in Benin City.

He said the police operation had been deployed to the area.

According to him, the operators worked with local residents and hunters to save kidnapped victims and arrested the attacker.

“The order was aware. The distribution needed has been made in that. Our people have experienced combing and saving bushes with the aim of saving the victims,” ​​Yamu said.
