Bendel Insurance technical advisor Kennedy Boboye has challenged his players to improve their performance levels as the club aims for a stronger finish than last season.
Benin Arsenals finished the 2025/26 campaign in fifth position with 56 points, narrowly missing out on finishing in the top three and a place in the continental competition.
With the club setting finishing in the top three as a minimum target for the new season, Boboye made it clear that his players must raise their standards if they are to achieve that goal.

The experienced strategist urged his team to accept the challenge and face the new campaign with greater determination, coherence and ambition.

He stressed that the players must repay the club’s commitment to meet their financial obligations by obtaining positive results on the field and improving their performances throughout the season.
“The management has assured us of better welfare, so we have no reason not to deliver this time. We owe it to them and the fans for victories and good football,” Boboye said.
