Captain Ekong takes Super Eagles to camp in the midst of late reports caused by transfers

Captain William Ekong, Bruno Onyemaechi and goalkeeper Amas Obasogie are the first arrivals in the Super Eagles training field in Uyo before the World Cup’s World Cup confrontation against Rwanda.

The Super Eagles camp officially opened today.

However, there are serious concerns that several players can be delayed while trying to solve their transfers in Europe.

The players include Adela Lookman, Cyriel Dessers, Tolu Arokodare, Chrisantus Uche and Samuel Chukwueze.

Nigeria in fourth place needs to win its next qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa to support any possibility of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup that will be organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
