CDCFIB rejects 15 correction service officers, demote 59, regulates others

Abuja (basic reporter) The Commission for Civil, Corrective Protection Services, Fires and Immigration (CDCFIB) has recommended the injure for 15 correction service for serious bad conduct and violation of service regulations

A declaration by the deputy manager of the head of the public relations of the corrections, Umar Abubakar said that another 59 officers were relegated following confirmed violations of professional standards, while 42 people have been issued written warnings as a corrective measure.

The declaration states in some parts: “The Council for Civil Protection, Correction, Fire and Immigration services (CDCFIB) concluded the resolutions on 231 disciplinary cases involving the staff of the Nigerian correction service. The cases were brought to the Council by the Disciplinary Committee and General purposes (BDGPC) after large investigations and poor process.

“Following an in -depth revision, the Council approved various disciplinary measures in line with its commitment to enforce the discipline and support the integrity of the service. A total of 15 people were fired from the service for serious bad conduct and violation of the service regulations.

β€œIn addition, 59 officers have reduced their ranks following confirmed violations of professional standards, while 42 people have been released by warnings written as corrective measure.

“The Council also exempted 16 people who were not considered guilty of the accusations against them and seven staff members are currently suspended to ascertain the levels of their involvement in a case under investigation. In one case, an official was suspended from duty and recommended the delivery of the economic and financial service. Inverted with a directive to reimburse all the profits received while he erroneously holds the degree.

In the meantime, the CDCFIB under the guidance of Hon. The Minister of the Interior, dr. Ojo Ojo Ojo reiterated his commitment to maintain high ethical and professional standards in all paintings.
