Chelsea made the right decision by appointing Alonso: Hato

Chelsea defender Jorrel Hato has expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment of Xabi Alonso as the new coach of the ‘bleus’.

After Chelsea’s 2-1 victory against Tottenham, Hato, in a talk with the club websiteHe stated that he cannot wait to work with Alonso.

He also said that the club made the right decision in appointing Alonso as coach.

“I think Chelsea made a good decision by hiring Xabi Alonso. I’m excited, I knew him as a player and I saw him grow at Liverpool and Real Madrid,” he said.

Xabi Alonso was officially named Chelsea’s new manager on a four-year contract.

His arrival is considered an important step by the club following the departure of the previous coaching staff.
