New AC Milan coach Ruben Amorim will hand Nigerian international winger Samuel Chukwueze a new role at full-back next season if he remains at the club, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Chukwueze spent all of last season on loan to Fulham of the English Premier League, and the English team has the option of making the deal permanent, but a final decision has not yet been made.
Although reports say they are considering signing him permanently for a lower fee than agreed as his potential transfer fee at the end of the loan.
He is now expected to report for pre-season training in Milan and new coach Amorim is already studying a possible way to integrate the Nigerian into his team.
A new role as a full-back in the coach’s favorite 3-4-3 formation is part of the plans for the 27-year-old, who still has two years left on his contract with the Italian team.
