The Mbaise Nation is destined to come to life with pomp, color and tradition as it hosts the Iri-ji Mbaise National Cultural Festival 2025-one of the most famous cultural events of Nigeria in honor of the new ignore.

The Grand Festival will take place on Friday 15 August 2025, at the city, itu, Ezinihitte Mbaise area of the local government, starting from 11:00

This year’s edition will be chaired by Barr. Louis Alozie, San, with the Governor of the State of Imo, his illustrious excellence Senator Hope Uzodinma, as head of the guest of honor. The governor of the state of Abia, his excellence Dr. Alex Otti, will participate as a guest of special honor.

Visitors can expect electrifying cultural displays, traditional dances buttons and melodious music, together with the famous warmth and hospitality of the people of Mbaise.

The organizers say that the festival is not only a celebration of the ignore harvest, but also a reaffirmation of units, identity and pride for the legacy of Mbaise – attracting dignitaries, tourists and cultural enthusiasts from the inside and outside Nigeria.
